Famous Father Girl: A Memoir of Growing Up Bernstein
Meet author, narrator, and filmmaker Jamie Bernstein when she speaks about her book, Famous Father Girl: A Memoir of Growing Up Bernstein on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 1:30 p.m. in the Main Library’s Community Room, 159 Bayview Avenue.
In a deeply intimate and broadly evocative memoir, the eldest daughter of revered composer-conductor Leonard Bernstein offers a rare look at her father on the centennial of his birth. In Famous Father Girl, Bernstein mines the emotional depths of her childhood and invites us into her family’s private world. Books will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
